This past Saturday was the August Bay Area Aussie meet-up, this was our second meet-up we have ever attended and I have to say it was such a blast for everyone, even Luna! Luna finally played with the other Aussies, she practically became best friends with a mini Aussie named Biscuit. Any time Biscuit ran somewhere else Luna went looking for her, it was honestly so adorable. She played with Dug again, they found another giant branch that Luna wouldn’t share, they pretty much played a dog version of follow the leader.
Sean and I were so happy that Luna was really social this time, all our hard work of making time every day for her to interact with other dogs is finally paying off. There were so many sweet and cute dogs there, then again it was an Aussie meet-up so that’s kind of a given. Now if we can just curve the leash crazy behavior, that’s what all of our focus will be on now since she’s comfortable playing with dogs off leash.
I brought my camera again, but this time the fog was even thicker than the July meet-up, so I experimented by increasing the brightness setting on my camera in hopes that I would be able to get some good shots….I just realized I need to change that setting back to normal brightness. I had some good shots but there was still a fair share that didn’t turn out because of the low light situation.
I really enjoy going to these meet-ups, not only do I get to go to the beach and nerd out on photos, we get to meet new people and Luna just has a great time. I promise I’ll have some non dog content on here soon, I’m thinking about doing a sketchbook tour soon. We shall see, anyways if you have a dog I recommend looking for a Facebook group of local meet-ups because I have really enjoyed it!
