I can say without a doubt, my weakness and favorite beauty products are lipsticks. It’s funny because about two years ago it was the complete opposite. The old cringe worthy memories of dance competitions, being forced to wear red lipstick that was not my shade, and looking like a clown prevented me from going near lipsticks. But two years ago is when I got sucked into the realm that is beauty bloggers on YouTube. So after seeing beauty bloggers pulling off great lipsticks time after time, it was only natural that I would desire to be a part of the lipstick loving club.
The first lipstick I got was Aubergine from Bite Beauty. This quickly became my go to “night out” shade and from there my love for lipsticks and the Bite Beauty brand grew tremendously. Fun fact for you: I own twelve Bite Beauty lipsticks. Yes that is correct, twelve. So I mean if that doesn’t say how much I love this brand and their product I don’t know what will. Of my twelve lip sticks my favorite shades are Fig, Verbana, Chai, and Plum.
Two of the main reasons I love this brand so much are that their color range is FAB, they have such a wide range of colors. I love it, cause it makes it easy to find a new color I’m obsessed with that I could have had a difficult time finding with other brands. The other is that the lipsticks sit so comfortably on the lips. I’m talking all formulas, even their matte lipsticks sit so comfortably while doing their job and staying in place.
Another really awesome thing about this brand that makes Bite Beauty stand out from the others is that their products are 100% healthy and organic, meaning if you ate it (which why I don’t know) you would be totally fine. For all you fellow Bob’s Burgers fans out there, if Gale had a Bite Beauty lipstick when she ate it because she wanted to feel, and I quote “red inside,” she would not suffer any hazardous effects (P.S. this reference is in the Art Crawl episode, one of my faves). On top of that, Bite Beauty only does lip products, so they know what they are doing. Natural, organic lip products are their specialty and let me tell you do they deliver a great quality lipstick.
Now of the twelve lipsticks I own, three are from their previous range they replaced with their new Amuse Bouche line (Pepper, Fig, and Rose). Pepper and Fig are available with this new line but I haven’t purchased them yet since I still have the ones I purchased last year. Plum and Juniper, my berry matte shades, were part of their limited edition Frozen Berries line last fall.
Bite Beauty is only exclusive to Sephora so if you don’t have one local to you, you can still purchase a lipstick from them online. They also have a lab in New York where you can make your own lipstick. I’m hoping to go here one day and make my own lipstick because I mean what lipstick obsessed person wouldn’t want to do that? Right? I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about the Bite Beauty brand as they are hands down one of my favorite brands. Let me know what lipsticks you love in the comments, I’m always looking to add more to my collection!
