This past Saturday our friend Brian was in town so we decided to venture into San Fransisco to meet up with him, catch up, and roam around the city while testing out my camera. Turns out this was the perfect day to do so as the weather in San Fransisco was perfection, not blazing hot but the sun was out and it made for a beautiful day in the city.
We started off walking up Market street to eat at Super Duper. Now after having it for a second time, I can confirm it’s pretty much San Fransisco’s version of Shake Shack and I’m not mad. Definitely not mad, I mean I personally I think they need to bring Shake Shack to the Bay Area because let me tell you my tummy is going through withdrawals. Although my tummy might be reunited with this glorious burger joint soon as I have just about convinced Sean to go to New York in September for our four year, MUAHAHA.
Then we headed over a few blocks to Nordstrom to have cocktails at the bar there. I like making a pit stop here whenever I’m downtown in San Fransisco, it’s a nice way to hit pause and relax from the crazy crowds of slower walkers.
Next we took an uber to Fisherman’s Wharf since Brian wanted to see a beach near the Golden Gate Bridge, plus I thought it would make for a great photoshoot opportunity. Boy was it packed, but that’s what you get for going to Fisherman’s Wharf on a Saturday afternoon. I got some great shots and I am already in love with my new camera. It’s surprising how different the quality is from even my digital camera to my DSLR, a world’s difference and it just makes me even more excited to really dive into it.
We ended the day with walking up the piers back to the Ferry Building: one of my favorite spots in San Fransisco. I know it’s tourist central there, but I just really love the Ferry Building. One day I want to take a food tour of it because they have such a wide range of selections. Soon soon, if I do I’ll definitely share the experience here. I hope you enjoyed my little random adventure this past Saturday, what did you do this past weekend? Any fun plans for next weekend, share them with me in the comments!
