Last week was my first week using my camera in 100% manual mode eek! I had taken a mini photography class with the goal of learning how I could utilize my new camera lens and how to start shooting in manual. After my class, I pulled out my camera and immediately tried using my camera with the information I learned and did so a few more times during the week. I wanted to share with you the photos I took last week:
So far I can tell my biggest challenge will be lighting. My photos run a little dark because I took these photos indoors, this won’t be a problem when I photograph outside but hopefully with practice I’ll be able to avoid dark photos that are taken inside. So far I LOVE shooting in manual with my new lens, I definitely think it will be my most used lens because it has a giant F-stop range, which means it will allow me to have a lot of variety in terms of options when it comes to my photos. I’m excited to share my journey in learning photography with you, more photo heavy posts to come as I continue to practice!
