Now this post is really overdue! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter than you most likely already know who Luna is, Luna or Lu as I like to call her, is my Aussie puppy I got last December. If you haven’t recently checked out my about page or if you are wondering why my image is an art table with puppy legs, then this post will serve as an update.
Since getting Lu, it took me little to no time to become a crazy dog momma, like any dog owner your pup becomes a pretty big part of your life. After I learned that Lu loved taking photos and was fascinated with my art supplies, I decided it would be cool to include her in the blog especially since she always wants to be a part of the process when it comes time for me to photograph my artwork. She now has her own Instagram account @Luna.Lu.Aussie, I recommend following her if you don’t already. I figured before I dive into puppy content that it would only make sense to give her a proper introduction! Take it away Lu!
Thanks Momma! I’m happy to finally have a chance to speak on this platform, so as my mom said my name is Luna but I prefer being called Lu. Have you heard the story behind my name? It’s not that interesting but when my mom was a kid her and her sister were obsessed with the show Sailor Moon, I will spare you the details on how obsessed, but anyways the main character Serena had a black cat that could talk named Luna. My mom loved that name and show so much that she knew she was either going to have a horse (another childhood obsession of hers) or a dog named Luna after the show and I came first WOO. I personally think puppies are better than horses, I mean they don’t say dogs are a man’s best friend for no reason.
ANYWAYS… now that I’ve told you the story behind my name I figured I would share a little more about me since I will be included in some more blog content now and then. As my mom said, I LOVE participating in my mom’s little photoshoots. Mainly because I love her art supplies and would like to be an artist myself when I grow up. All of the paint colors look so fascinating, although my mom hasn’t let me use any of her art supplies yet and only pose with her paintings from time to time, I just know I’ll create my own paintings one day. I mean I made her create me my own Instagram account, took 7 months but hey it happened!
The only thing that I love more than art and taking photos is destroying toys and the occasional sock. Right now I’m at a record of 5 minutes of destroying a toy, I have to say I’m pretty impressed with myself even if my parents aren’t thrilled. I guess toys cost money whatever that is!
I’m still working on being comfortable around other dogs, my parents assure me that they are ok but I’m still not sure. They keep saying they want to give me a brother pup but I’m calling their bluff. Yeah right I’m the cutest pup ever why would they get another one? Anyways I think I’m going to a doggy day care soon, so hopefully I’m make some furfriends soon!
Anyways content you can expect in the future involving me and puppy themes are places that you can bring your pups, favorite puppy supplies, crafts that are puppy friendly, and much more. I’m really excited about it! Stay tuned and don’t forget to follow me on Instagram!
