So sometimes burnout happens or sometimes your body tells you that it is time for you to take a break. Aka I’m writing this to you from my couch with orange juice near and watching the PowerPuff Girls on Netflix (yeah that’s right that happened, I saw it and with not feeling well at all I decided to watch one of my favorite shows from my childhood). I just woke up from a two hour nap on the couch because I’m suffering from a pretty nasty chest cold. Hmm seemed to happen after working really hard on my day job and side hustling my little heart out to launch my Etsy shop.
Maybe my body is telling me that I was spreading myself little too thin. I’m sure that some of you are experiencing some burnout yourselves, it happens to everyone once in a while. So what am I going to do? I’m going to take some time to relax, step away, and find inspiration while I take some time for some self care.
Everyone needs a break at some point. I’ll still be making content and painting but I want to focus on doing it on my own time, by that I mean as I please and take the stress of a deadline out of it. Take some naps, first off focus on feeling better, then maybe get out of the house and explore a bit. Who knows, it could do wonders for inspiration.
